| KCS announces the promotion of Brett C. Jensen to AVP intermodal sales & marketing |
In a news release on August 14, KCS and its subsidiaries announced the promotion of Brett C. Jensen from general director to assistant vice president intermodal sales and marketing. Jensen is responsible for the sale and marketing of domestic and crossborder intermodal freight service.
"In addition to strong management skills, Brett has an exceptional ability to forge new relationships and develop existing relationships with customers," said Brian Bowers, senior vice president intermodal and automotive. "These skills are essential to the team's ability to take full advantage of the opportunities to increase intermodal business and expand intermodal service offerings in KCS' International Intermodal Corridor."
Jensen has 13 years of professional sales experience. He joined KCSR in 2001 and has coordinated supply chain logistics with rail, ocean and truck carriers, third party logistics providers, major retailers and manufacturers to develop national and international accounts for the intermodal business unit. He has also held sales positions with Kustom Signals and JC Penney. He holds a bachelor of science in business with a dual major of marketing and management from Pittsburg State University. |
